| Sep 22 2007 - I sometimes couldn't catch a word. He spoke fast at times and dropped the sound occasionally. He was very knowledgable and gave us lots of information that we could not have gotten from a notebook. Very interesting presentation as I had only viewed e-bay once or twice and have never sold or tried to purchase items. But with the information our instructor gave, I am ready to join e-bay as a buyer and seller. Thanks for providing this class! |
| Sep 18 2007 - Great class. He spoke a little too fast. He had alot of info to cover in 2 hrs. He did succeed. He did apoligize for his running thru the material fast. The handouts helped. They could have been printed a little larger. I also wish the room was a little darker. It was hard to read the screen. It was well worth it. If anyone wants to take the class, I would recommend taking a class on weekdays. The class was smaller that the weekend classes.

It was much better than the ebay course I took at our local community college that cost $75.
He covered a tremendous amount in 2 hours. I would like to take another class to learn even more. I will look for one under "ebay university."

| Jun 5 2007 - I really enjoyed the Ebay song presentation, kind of puts it in perspecitve.
I had seen this presentation a few years ago by the post office in another city, and this presentation was much better. THe venue was also much more comfortable, and the instructor was easy to follow. The seminar had lots of good information, and he kept up the pace, including answering questions.
Well done. Hope to see something like this again in the future. |

Slide projector used only half of the entire available screen that some of slides (expecially screen shot) with lots of options were difficult to see even from the front raw. -Slides were too "wordy" and the print way too small to be easily viewed.
-Handouts aren't detailed enough.
My suggestion would be to keep the slides to a few key, bold words then make the handouts more detailed.
I'd also like the opportunity to take a more lengthy class for which I'd happily pay a fee. Perhaps a course could be offered via community recreation centers or through college continuing educations programs. A hands-on class where one could actually register with E-Bay an Pay Pal, create a listing, upload a picture, and print out shipping labels would be of great interest to me. |

He was responsive to questions and was patient with with those asking for clarification a second or third time. He provided valuable insight based on his first-hand experience and the experience of others. It was well worth the time and provided sound basics and support material for beginning. |

However, I was grateful that I had substantial e-bay buying experience prior to class; otherwise, it may have moved too fast to be covered in 2 hours. I believe it was over some of the students' heads. But I loved it! Thank you and especially thank you for doing it for free and including all the post office info. That will be very helpful in my business—which has nothing to do with EBay—so I feel I got two classes for free. FREE is always good. Bravo & keep up the good work! |
