Aug 1 2010 - Overall I felt the course was good. I think it would be beneficial if students were able to bring their laptops and view pages and materials online, browse ebay stores and see and understand more explicitly the material.

She tried to keep the class moving to cover everything, but too many questions to slow her down. I would put in a proviso that your questions should be answered at the end of the class to allow the instructor to get through the material.

Perhaps the class should be 1 hr longer to allow for questions and to cover the material. I felt we rushed through sections 3,4,5. I plan to take additional classes from the instructor and recommend her class for those who are undecided about selling on ebay.

Jan 23 2008 - 01/20/08 - Beyond the Basics. What I loved about this class was that it was taught from first hand experience versus "out of the book". Yes, there is a PowerPoint slide show that you follow along with the workbook but what I got for $65 was four hours of CJ and her expertise. A couple things that worked were the small size of group -all of my questions and concerns were addressed and answered and the comfortable "home" classroom setting. Jan 22 2008 - This was my second class with Carolyn "CJ" Jacinto. As in the first class, she was very knowledgeable and patient with our multiple questions. She was willing to stay after the class (and did stay late) in order to answer and demonstrate any questions that we had.
Jan 22 2008 - CJ is one of the best instructors I have encountered. Having had no prior e-bay experience I found her teaching methods to be organized, logical, systematic and focused. Not only did I learn the basic how-tos for getting started, I also learned the e-bay language, and tips and techniques that only the pros know to help jump start my business. She paced her teaching to my level of understanding allowing me to easily retain the knowledge she shared. I also hired CJ for one-on-one consulting and we accomplished tasks in 2 hours that would normally have taken 8 hours. It was well worth the afforable consulting fees to have focused one-on-one training on my specific topics. I was "in business" after our first consultation. I found CJ to be easily available by e-mail and phone for questions that popped up. She saved me valuable time if I got stuck from navigating on my own. She's my on-call coach who's always there! C.J. was easy to talk to and shared freely her personal experience with her ebay business. C. J. was awesome answering questions and makes herself available as a resource even after the course is over. The only thing that I wish was different was going more in depth on certain subjects. It was a great overview of ebay stores- a good jumping off point to help me feel comfortable opening my own store. I had my ebay store up and running in about 30 minutes. Overall, a very informative afternoon.

The only reason I state this is because I realize the devotion, knowledge, listening skills and enthusiasm that an instuctor must have to be helpful to a student. CJ loves what she does for ebay and it is infectious. She is knowledgeable, a great listener to my needs,addresses my concerns first so I can listen to the next steps, organize with her thoughts and teaching techniques and makes it fun. What a home run for me as a student. We worked for 3 hours together and I learned soooo much and want to learn more. A student that wants to go back to her teacher and wants more information?! Jul 15 2007 - Sunday, July 15, 2007 CJ presented an interesting approach to her instruction. She used computer projections that followed the course book, “The Basics of Selling on eBay.” Her added personal experience was insightful and added to the interest of the course. CJ’s voice is projected and varied, which created a higher interest to the listener. This was refreshing, since I have a tendency of becoming drowsy at such training courses. It was evident that the training time was inadequate for the course material. I would suggest that course be increased by one hour. In addition, it was evident that those who purchased the course book were much more able to take detailed notes. Therefore, a five-hour course and the book at a price of $95 would be favorable to the student and the satisfaction of a professional such as CJ Jacinto. May 3 2007 - i did not know about the work book before the class and was only planning on the class fee. i was a bit surprised that the price of the book was not added to the class so i could feel that the over all experiance was indeed very valuable. i would recommend that the price of the book be included with the upfront cost of the course to help add extra value to the education available. now if i had opted to not want the book because maybe that was the second time attending the class then the price of the class would drop because i have one from a previous class that i attended. also through my experiances in all the education that i receive in the marine corps we always get a short five to ten minute break every so often. sitting in one place for 30 mins is not difficult for me to do. it also helps to be able to think about the subjects taught and let the material sink in. also during this time if i had a question about the material previously covered i could ask it... i tend to forget questions unless i write them down.

Mar 2 2006 - Carolyn Jacinto was great and is definitely qualified to teach the course. As far as the material she had to work with, however, I learn by directly observing or doing, so even though there was a great deal of material covered to outline the basics, it still feels academic. I would like to actually observe an item as though it is actually being put on e-bay for sale. I know, I know, I have to take the initiative and just do it. But there is so much emphasis on feedback, I am still afraid to get my feet wet.
